About the Study
Helping Shape the Future of Ortho-K
Eye & i is inviting eligible participants to take part in a clinical study evaluating next-generation Ortho-K technology.
Ortho-K uses specially designed contact lenses worn while you sleep. The lenses gently reshape the front surface of the eye, providing clear daytime vision without relying on glasses or daytime contact lenses.

Initial Criteria
Who may be eligible?
These criteria offer an initial guide. Final eligibility will be confirmed by our clinical team following a detailed assessment.

Aged 6 to 40 years,
inclusive
- From a non–East Asian ethnic background
- Short-sightedness between −0.50D and −6.00D
- Less than 1.50D of astigmatism
- Motivated to swap glasses for overnight lenses
- Able to attend 9 visits over 12 months

Your Ortho-K Trial Journey
From initial screening to the final assessment, our clinical team will guide you through each stage.
01
Day 0
Screening and Lens Fitting
A comprehensive eye examination and detailed measurements to confirm eligibility. Your study lenses are fitted, with guidance on inserting, removing and caring for them.

Day 2
First Overnight Review
After your first night wearing the lenses, we check your vision, comfort, lens fit and eye health.

Week 1
Early Progress Review
We check your daytime vision and how you are adapting to overnight wear, with corneal mapping to assess the treatment response.

Week 2
Lens-fit and Vision Review
We review your vision, corneal maps and lens fit, and assess whether any adjustments are needed.
05
Month 1
One-Month Review
We assess your vision and eye health, review your progress and help with any lens-wear or care questions.
06
Month 3
Three-Month Review
We monitor your vision, eye health and lens performance to assess how your treatment is progressing.
07
Month 6
Mid-Study Assessment
A comprehensive assessment of your progress, including vision checks, corneal mapping and study measurements.
08
Month 9
Nine-Month Review
We continue checking your vision, eye health and lens fit as you approach the final stage of the study.
09
Month 12
Final Study Assessment
We complete your final measurements, discuss your results and explain the next steps for your ongoing vision care.
